Each courtclass6 item receives two separate classifications: product category and product condition. Please read the following information carefully to better understand how our categorization and condition are determined independently.
Product categories
The respective classification is based on age and our careful assessment of each individual case. The categorization does not indicate the condition - this is determined and reported separately.
Vintage
Vintage items are considered to be from 2000 or earlier. These pieces are usually pre-owned and may show signs of wear and tear consistent with age and use, such as small stains, discoloration, or wear. Such characteristics are normal for vintage goods and do not constitute a defect in the legal sense. The condition is carefully checked and transparently stated in the product description.
Secondhand
Secondhand items generally date from 2001 to the present. In some cases, an item may be classified as vintage based on its appearance, at our discretion. Each item is carefully assessed for its condition.
Firsthand
These items are new and unworn with tags.
Product condition
We carefully check each item and assign it to one of the following conditions:
New
Unworn and in original condition, usually with label.
Like new
No label, but no visible signs of wear – looks and feels like new.
Very good
Minimal, barely noticeable signs of wear. Mostly no defects that are noticeable upon wear.
Minor defects
Slight wear and tear or small irregularities such as micro-stains, tiny holes or material changes.
Visible defects
Clearly visible signs of wear such as stains, discoloration, holes, or heavy wear. These defects are clearly documented in the item description.
Size & Fit
Since sizing for vintage and second-hand items is often outdated, all products at courtclass6 are re-categorized based on our experience. The size shown in the shop is the recommended size to order. Differences between the label size and the listed size may occur - this is normal and not a mistake, but a result of our individual sizing system. For a deliberately loose or oversized fit, choosing a larger size may be advisable.

All secondhand and vintage pieces are carefully inspected. Each piece goes through a multi-step verification process, where we check the material, craftsmanship, stitching, brand markings, and other details found only on genuine pieces. We also review color and fabric quality, natural aging, and cut details. Thanks to years of experience in dealing with branded products, we can guarantee the authenticity of every piece.
How do the pieces fit?
Sizing for vintage and secondhand pieces often differs from modern standards. We therefore reclassify all pieces based on our experience. The size listed in the shop represents the recommended order size. Differences between the original label size and the listed size are possible and are not errors, but the result of our careful reassessment. For a looser or oversized fit, we recommend considering a larger size.
Can I reorder a sold-out article?
Most of our secondhand and vintage pieces are one-of-a-kind. Once a piece is sold, it is usually not available again. That’s why it pays to act fast if a piece catches your eye.
How long does shipping take?
We ship all orders the same day, no matter the time of purchase, so you can enjoy your new favorite piece quickly.
